Which AI appointment setters are built for life insurance?

Polca publishes this page, and we make one of the products on it. Every fact about another company comes from that company's own website, checked on November 3, 2026, and links to the page it came from. Where we couldn't verify something there, we left it out. Prices and features change; check the vendor's site before you buy. Spot an error? Email hello@polca.ai and we'll fix it.

Where is Polca not the best fit?

Being straight about it:

  • Polca quotes agencies on a call. Closelio and Agent Autopilot publish self-serve prices.
  • Polca calls only between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the lead's local time and never on Sundays, on AI and human calls alike. That is narrower than the federal 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. window, and agencies can tighten it but not widen it. Other tools allow more of the federal window.
  • Polca's dialer is agent-paced, one call per available rep. Predictive and multi-line modes are not on by default. Closelio offers a 5-, 10- or 15-line dialer.
  • Polca does not scrub lists against the National or state Do Not Call registries.
  • Polca is built only for life insurance. PeakSend and the voice-AI builders cover more industries; Sonant covers P&C inbound.
  • Polca has few third-party reviews so far. Ask for recordings and references, from us or anyone.

What should you ask any AI setter before you buy?

  • Can I hear unedited recordings of booked calls, and see results traced to written policies?
  • Does the AI place voice calls, send texts, or both?
  • What does the lead see on caller ID, and who manages number health?
  • What happens when a lead wants to talk now?
  • Which consent does each list need, and who checks it?
  • Who scrubs against the National DNC Registry?
  • What does a busy month cost? Are minutes or calls billed as overage?
  • Is it month to month? Is there a setup fee?

And check the consent on your own lists first. See Can AI call life insurance leads?

What has Polca's AI setter produced?

Per agent on Ava, each month (as of November 2026): 46 appointments booked by Ava, 5 clients signed by the agent (about 11% of booked appointments), and $9,856 in annual premium (AP) written, about $118,000 a year. That is about $10 of AP written for every $1 spent on Ava (9.9×, measured against what the agency pays for Ava). Top agents are on pace for $134,000 to $137,000 a year of AP from Ava-booked appointments.

Ava booked the appointment; the agent signed the client. A signed client counts when the agent signed them within 60 days of the appointment Ava booked; AP counts everything signed. Source: production records of the agency Polca was built in. Individual results vary. Hear real booked calls.
